Marian is retired from ministry with Samaritan's Purse. She was a missionary nurse anesthetist and midwife in Sudan. She began her missionary career with her husband Fred in Kenya with Africa Inland Mission. Marian has just retired in summer 2007 and is living at the AIM Retirement Center in Florida.
